Nata a Urbino il 13/03/1972. Laurea con lode in Economia e Commercio presso l’Università di Urbino, nel 1996. Nel 2004 ha conseguito il Ph.D. in Economics presso la London School of Economics and Political Science di Londra. Docente di Macroeconomia ed Econometria presso il Dipartimento di Economia e Finanza dell’Università “Luiss Guido Carli”. Abilitato alle funzioni di Professore Ordinario nel settore 13/A2 – Politica Economica (Dicembre 2013) e Professore Associato nel settore 13/A1– Economia Politica (Febbraio 2014). Dal 2005 al 2007 ha collaborato con l’ISTAT presso il Servizio Statistiche delle Istituzioni Pubbliche e Private (SIP). Nel 2003, ha lavorato come economista presso la Euro Area Macro Development Division della Banca Centrale Europea a Francoforte. Dal 2000 al 2005 ha svolto attività di ricerca presso il Centre for Economic Performance della London School of Economics.
