Docente: Pierpaolo D’Urso

Nato il 27 settembre 1968, è laureato con lode in Scienze Statistiche ed Economiche (Sapienza – Università di Roma) ed è dottore di ricerca in Statistica Metodologica (Sapienza – Università di Roma).

Dal 2008 è professore ordinario di Statistica presso la Sapienza – Università di Roma ove è titolare della cattedra di Statistica e di Statistica Multivariata. In precedenza ha anche insegnato Analisi delle strutture complesse di dati, Inferenza statistica, Metodi statistici multivariati per la psicologia, Statistica applicata alla psicologia e Statistica sanitaria.

Attualmente è docente di Statistica e ricerche di mercato presso l’Università LUISS – Guido Carli ove ha anche insegnato Statistica per la ricerca applicata e tecnologica e Metodologie avanzate e nuove tecnologie per il marketing.

È stato professore associato di Statistica presso l’Università del Molise (2002-2008) ove ha insegnato Statistica, Statistica computazionale, Statistica sociale e Statistica del turismo.

È membro del Nucleo di Valutazione di Ateneo dell’ Università LUISS – Guido Carli.

È stato componente della Commissione per la Garanzia dell’Informazione Statistica (CoGIS) presso la Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri  (2010-2012).

È stato revisore per il Ministero dell’Istruzione, dell’Università e della Ricerca (MIUR) e l’Agenzia Nazionale di Valutazione del Sistema Universitario e della Ricerca (ANVUR).

È membro del collegio dei docenti della Scuola di Dottorato in Scienze Statistiche presso la Sapienza – Università di Roma.

È membro del comitato scientifico del Centro Studi di Economia della Formazione e delle Professioni (CeFOP) presso l’Università  LUISS – Guido Carli.

È membro del Consiglio di Amministrazione della Fondazione D’Addario.

È Associate Editor delle riviste Advances in Data Analysis and Classification, Information Sciences, Metron – International Journal of Statistics, Advances in Computational Research.
