Marco Magnani

Ha circa 20 anni di esperienza professionale in Investment Banking. Prima a JPMorgan a New York e successivamente come dirigente di Mediobanca a Milano. Durante questo periodo ha svolto attività di advisor per numerosi gruppi americani e internazionali in operazioni di finanza straordinaria negli USA, in Europa e in Asia. Ha svolto tre mandati nel Global Agenda Council on Banking and Capital Markets.

Docente di Monetary and Financial Economics a Scienze Politica alla Luiss, Professor of practice alla Luiss Business School e fellow presso lo IAI – Istituto Affari Internazionali. Dal 2011 è Senior Research Fellow alla Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Dal 2013 al 2015 è stato Visiting Fellow alla School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) della Johns Hopkins University a Washington, DC.

Nel 2010 è stato nominato Young Global Leader del World Economic Forum di Davos. E’ membro di: The Aspen Institute, Chatham House, Istituto Affari Internazionali, The Economic Club of New York. E’ membro del Board of Trustees di AFS International a New York e membro dell’Advisory Board della Committee of Global Thought di Columbia University.

Ha conseguito una laurea in Economia Generale all’Università di Roma e un MBA in Finanza alla Columbia University. E’ AFS scholar e Luciano Jona scholar. Ha inoltre completato programmi in leadership e public policies alla Harvard Kennedy School, al Jackson Institute for Global Affairs di Yale University e alla Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy di Singapore.

He has nearly 20 years of professional business experience primarily in Investment Banking. First in New York at JPMorgan and subsequently in Milan at Mediobanca. During this timeframe he provided financial advice to several U.S. and international clients regarding mergers, acquisitions and other corporate finance transactions in the U.S., Europe and Asia. He served three mandates on the Global Agenda Council on Banking and Capital Markets.

He teaches Monetary and Financial Economics at Luiss (Political Science), he is Professor of practice at Luiss Buisness School and a fellow at IAI – Istituto Affari Internazionali. Since 2011 Senior Research Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. From 2013 to 2015 he was a Visiting Fellow at the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) of Johns Hopkins University in Washington, DC.

In 2010, he was appointed Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum of Davos.
