giannoneDomenico Giannone joined LUISS in 2013. He is currently on leave and works as Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Prior to  this he thought econometrics at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ECARES) and worked as an Economist in the Monetary Policy Research Division of the European Central Bank (ECB). His general  fields of research are time series econometrics, forecasting, monetary policy, business cycles and growth. He has designed econometric models that are routinely used to support policy decision makers  in many institutions, and was co-founder and director of, a web-based forecasting company.
He is a Research Fellow of CEPR and associate editor of the  Journal of Applied Econometrics, the International Journal of Forecasting and Empirical Economics.
