We will refer to two textbook, one presenting the traditional approach to corporate finance, the other one the behavioral approach.
The printed editions of the textbooks are quite expensive. For this reason, in collaboration with McGraw Hill, I created an e-book dedicated to the course, including all the chapters of the two books that we will cover (not all chapters of the traditional corporate finance textbook will be covered).
It is possible to directly buy the ebook from the following website:
I strongly recommend to buy this ebook since it is definitely less expensive than buying the printed version of the book, but also because the chapters of the two textbooks are already presented in the order that I will follow in class.
The possibility of having a low cost e-book also depends on the fact that the students enrolled in the course will buy it.
Of course you can buy the printed version of the two textbooks that are listed below:
Traditional finance textbook:
Principles of Corporate Finance, Concise, 2nd edition, by Brealey, Myers and Allen, McGraw Hill, 2011. (check for paperback, if you want to buy the printed version).
Behavioral finance textbook:
Behavioral Corporate Finance, by Shefrin, 1st Edition, McGraw Hill, 2007.
I also strongly recommend to use the support websites of the two textbooks:
