Clarification on the exam

Exam
Assessment method:
– In class participation: 20% of the final mark
– Compulsory written exam: 40% of the final mark
– Compulsory group assignment: 40% of the final mark

In class participation
In order to do the exam in the examination date of the summer session, a minimum of 80%
in class presence is required. The list of the students that meet this requirement has been published and posted in the “course materials” section.
The 20% class participation mark will be assigned on the basis of the positive evaluations obtained by each student during the course. These will include the two group class-assignements done during the course (i.e. the vertical integration assignement on Zara).

Group assignment
All students were required to carry on the group assignment during the course. Those that were exempted from the group assignment for specific reasons directly by the Professor will take the oral exam instead. Any withdrawal from groups after they were defined without specific reason and notice to the Professor will be treated as a “fail” in the group assignment percentage.

class along with the online material, the cases presented by the Professor, the cases prepared
by the students (see in the “group work” section) and any other material cited in this syllabus.

by the students (see in the “group work” section) and any other material cited in this syllabus
